Pearse Professionals are supporting a high-growth, PE-backed Insur-tech business seeking an Interim Finance Manager (Insurance) on a contract basis to support the finance team during a busy period.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of the monthly insurance premium bordereaux, typically requiring focused input during the first 4–5 days of each month.
- Review, improvement and optimisation of bordereaux and related finance processes, drawing on prior best practice.
- Acting as a key finance contact for insurers, handling queries on an ad-hoc basis.
- Preparation and review of insurance-related balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end activities and providing general Finance Manager-level support to the wider team as required.
Candidate profile:
- Proven experience in an insurance, insurtech or financial services environment.
- Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills.
- Comfortable taking ownership of defined processes in a fast-paced, scaling business.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and able to support beyond a narrow remit.
Contract details:
- 3-month initial contract.
