Pearse Professionals are working with a leading infrastructure fund in hiring senior operational leaders to support value creation across its UK, European and international portfolio. This role is focused on driving operational performance and embedding repeatable value creation frameworks across asset-heavy businesses in sectors including energy, utilities, transport and infrastructure services.
The role:
- Lead operational diagnostics across portfolio companies
- Identify and deliver improvements in asset performance, cost efficiency and operational resilience
- Support management teams in translating investment theses into executable operational plans
- Establish operational KPIs, governance and cadence aligned to investor expectations
- Work closely with asset CEOs, boards and the fund’s asset management team
- Rotate across multiple assets rather than embedding permanently in a single business
The profile:
- Former COO, Operations Director or Value Creation / Transformation Leader
- Deep experience in asset-heavy, regulated or semi-regulated environments
- Proven track record delivering operational improvement and performance uplift
- Comfortable operating at board and investor level
- Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused
- Prior experience in PE-backed and investor-owned infrastructure assets
Engagement:
- Interim, fractional or project-based
- Portfolio-wide exposure with repeat assignments
- Long-term relationship with a highly active infrastructure investor
