Pearse Professionals are working with a venture-backed SaaS business looking to appoint an Interim CFO to support the leadership team through a period of commercial acceleration, international expansion, and operational scaling. Having recently completed a Series C fundraise, the business is focused on driving towards further growth and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, leading the financial agenda and supporting decision-making across the business.
- Lead and optimise financial planning, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting, with a focus on scaling across international markets.
- Own investor relations and board reporting, delivering accurate, timely insights to senior stakeholders and shareholders.
- Strengthen the finance function, developing scalable systems, processes, and team capabilities appropriate for a growth-stage SaaS business.
- Provide commercial analysis and support on pricing, expansion strategy, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader within VC-backed SaaS businesses.
- Track record of leading or supporting fundraising processes, ideally at Series B or C stage and beyond.
- Strong technical finance capability, with a hands-on approach and ability to lead through ambiguity.
- Commercially astute, with experience supporting executive leadership and managing board-level stakeholder relationships.
- Prior exposure to scaling internationally and developing finance teams in high-growth environments is highly desirable.
- Available to start at short notice and comfortable working in an interim or fractional capacity.
