We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to join our Finance team at a growing luxury fashion business. This position will report directly into the number 1 in Finance and plays a vital role in overseeing core financial activities, ensuring that our accounting practices are accurate, compliant, and support the company’s growth. You will be instrumental in delivering accurate financial reporting and planning as well as reliable financial insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee the daily financial transactions, including management of AP and AR.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process journal entries in line with accounting policies.
- Contribute to the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Partner with the wider business teams to analyse financial performance and present actionable insights.
- Ensure tax regulatory compliance and assist with the preparation of tax returns.
- Help optimise internal financial systems, processes, and controls for better efficiency and compliance.
- Support and mentor junior finance team members to promote continuous development.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with ACCA, or similar professional qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in an accounting/finance role, ideally within retail or fashion/luxury goods.
- Strong grasp of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
