Pearse are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most exciting fintech businesses to secure a Finance Manager to join their growing finance function. Having attracted investment from some of the most reputable Venture Capital firms in Europe, they are in a period of sustained growth as they provide key intelligence and analytics to financial institutions.
The Finance Manager will work closely with and report directly to a seasoned fintech focused Finance Director. They will be a key figure in the team, leading on many aspects of finance including financial reporting and management accounting, FP&A and long-term strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and global payroll.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis with insightful commentary.
- Partner with business units to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Oversee cash flow management and treasury activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions, liaising with auditors and advisors.
- Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies and financial governance frameworks.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support the Finance Director with financial planning and key strategic initiatives.
- Lead extensive ad-hoc projects to support the growth of the business.
What we need to see (Essential):
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience in a high growth tech environment (preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in across Finance
