Interim M&A Director - Healthcare

9-12 months, potential for a long-term permanent role. Day rate. Travel expected.

Pearse Professionals are partnering with a PE-backed healthcare platform on a confidential search for an Interim M&A Director. The business is a leading provider in a fragmented, consolidating market, with clear backing to grow through acquisition. This is a genuine end-to-end role. You own the deal from first conversation to completion, sourcing a proprietary pipeline of bolt-on targets and then driving each one through to close.

  • Source and develop proprietary acquisition opportunities
  • Build relationships directly with founder and owner-managed healthcare businesses
  • Lead negotiations on price, structure and terms
  • Manage the full deal process, from valuation and offer through to financial and commercial due diligence
  • Coordinate advisers, legal and the wider deal team through to signing and completion
  • Work alongside the leadership team and investor on deal strategy and integration handover

Background:

  • A strong track record across both origination and execution in healthcare or another fragmented services sector
  • Proven ownership of deals from sourcing through to completion
  • Buy-and-build or multi-site roll-up experience
  • Confident leading negotiations, due diligence and adviser management
