Our client, a fast-growing digital infrastructure business, is hiring a Debt Operations and Documentation Lead to join their Treasury function, where they will support the execution and oversight of a global debt portfolio. Working closely with the Corporate Finance and Legal teams, this position focuses on managing debt facilities, maintaining compliance with financing obligations, and ensuring robust operational processes across a range of instruments including term loans, revolving credit facilities, and capital markets debt.
Key Responsibilities
- Debt Operations & Execution
- Manage utilisation, drawdowns, and repayments across debt facilities
- Support refinancing activity and ensure timely funding for business needs
- Partner with internal teams to align funding with operational requirements
- Documentation & Compliance
- Review and interpret loan agreements and financing documentation
- Monitor financial and reporting covenants to ensure compliance
- Translate legal terms into practical operational processes
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key contact for lenders, banks, and external agents
- Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Legal, and wider business teams
- Coordinate funding timelines and obligations across stakeholders
- Treasury Support & Analysis
- Support interest rate and FX hedging activities
- Contribute to funding and liquidity analysis
- Assist on broader Treasury and Corporate Finance initiatives
- Process & Controls
- Develop and improve processes across debt operations and reporting
- Manage data across multiple facilities and jurisdictions
- Identify risks and drive improvements to controls and workflows
Experience & Skills
- Experience in debt operations, compliance, or loan agency (corporate or financial institution)
- Strong understanding of debt facilities and long-form documentation
- Exposure to publicly issued debt and related compliance is beneficial
- Experience working in an international environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage large datasets
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
