Pearse Professionals are excited to be working with a leading Private Equity backed business currently seeking a Corporate Development Associate/Analyst to join the team. After continued growth through acquisition and organic growth, this business is now on a highly ambitious buy and build journey to become a true market leader in their space.
Role Purpose
The Corporate Development Analyst/Associate will support the execution of strategic acquisitions across the full deal lifecycle, working closely with the Corporate Development Director, senior management, external advisers and target acquisitions. This role offers hands-on exposure to M&A and a clear development path toward becoming a deal lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed financial data books to assess prospective acquisition targets and determine maintainable EBITDA
- Assist in the preparation of board papers and acquisition approval materials
- Interact directly with target acquisitions to gather financial and non-financial information
- Support financial due diligence and liaise with external advisers
- Assist on deal execution through to completion and post-acquisition integration
- Track performance against investment assumptions post-completion
Candidate Profile
- Accounting background preferred (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Financial due diligence or transaction services experience highly desirable
- Strong financial analysis and Excel skills
- Interest in developing into a deal lead within a PE-backed environment
