They are searching for a Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of the business, as they continue to double their headcount year on year. The Role
As Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with various company functions including operations and compliance to ensure the smooth running of financial processes. This is a strategic role with real scope to implement and drive process improvements. Responsibilities
- Ownership of the day to day accounting, maintaining full compliance with local GAAP / IFRS standards
- Drive month end close processes
- Produce financial statements and supporting workpapers for the annual audit
- Assist with FP&A in key areas such as the forecast and budgeting processes
- Take ownership of yearly corporate tax submissions, coordinating with and managing external advisors throughout
- Play an active role in quarterly and annual regulatory submissions for relevant entities
- Improving processes by streamlining workflows and implementing automation tooling
- Various ad-hoc projects to support the business as they continue to scale
Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP / accounting software
- Strong knowledge of financial processes and reporting across multiple entities and currencies
- Genuine interest in fintech and financial products, prior experience is an advantage but not required
- Ability to work well with senior stakeholders cross-functionally
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
