Pearse are excited to have partnered exclusively with a market leading, venture capital backed fintech who are looking for an excellent FP&A Manager to join their Strategic Finance function.

With a mission to provide fair financial tools through their platform and award winning app, they’ve now built a client base that includes some of the globe’s most recognisable brands and have attracted £300m+ investment from tier one investors to drive further growth.

Headquartered in Central London, they have recently scaled in the US and Europe as well as seen further growth in the UK, and are now focussed on M&A to fuel further growth as they prepare for an IPO.

Role & Responsibilities

This is a high impact, strategic finance position with a strong focus on financial planning, financial modelling, M&A and corporate development. The FP&A Manager will report directly to their experienced VP of Strategic Finance, with the opportunity to work alongside their CFO and with other department Heads.

Lead on the development of complex financial models to support strategic decision making

M&A and transaction support: play a key role in upcoming M&A including the evaluation of opportunities and financial due diligence

Support with the integration process post-acquisition

Partnering with business leaders to align financial plans with strategic objectives

Prepare and deliver reports for investors and the Board, translating complex financial data into clear insights

Analyse performance, highlight trends, risks and growth opportunities to recommend actionable strategies

Collaborate with the wider finance team including the Financial Control function when required

Work closely with external stakeholders including banks, investors and advisors

Review and refine existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability

Requirements

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Hands-on experience in M&A, transaction services or financial due diligence

Previous FP&A experience a bonus

Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to senior stakeholders

Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning

Strong interest in fintech/technology startups

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
