Investment Director (Private Equity)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK mid-market private equity firm, this hire will focus on UK business across the business services ecosystem.

The Role

We are hiring a high-calibre Director to join our Business Services team. You will lead deal origination, execution, and portfolio value creation, playing a senior role in shaping strategy and driving returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across the UK business services sector
• Lead transaction execution including diligence, structuring, and negotiation
• Support and challenge portfolio company management as a board director
• Drive strategic growth, value creation, and exit planning
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Candidate Requirements

• Strong UK investment experience in private equity or principal investing
• Track record of leading mid-market transactions and exits
• Deep understanding of the UK business services landscape
• Strong commercial acumen and board-level presence
