We are supporting a leading private markets investor that provides scalable, collateral‑backed financing solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. The team structures and underwrites transactions such as warehouse lines, term funding facilities, forward‑flow agreements and securitisation‑linked solutions that support platform growth. This Associate role sits at the intersection of credit underwriting, data‑driven collateral analysis and structured execution. You’ll work on both new transactions and portfolio financing alongside senior investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite asset‑backed financing transactions using portfolio and loan‑level data.
- Structure warehouse lines, term facilities, forward‑flow agreements and securitisation‑linked solutions.
- Analyse collateral pools and portfolio performance, assessing advance rates, credit enhancement and waterfall mechanics.
- Support transaction negotiation and execution with lenders, legal counsel, servicers and external advisors.
- Monitor existing facilities and contribute to ongoing optimisation to support portfolio companies as they scale.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in Securitised Products Groups (SPG), Asset‑Backed Financing, Structured Credit, or Specialty Finance teams is especially relevant.
- Strong modelling and quantitative capability (loan‑level or collateral analysis).
- A deep understanding of underlying asset classes and platform dynamics.
- Demonstrable structuring experience (advance rates, waterfalls, triggers, protections).
- Candidates from private credit, debt advisory or leveraged finance backgrounds will also be considered where they have worked on asset‑backed or lender‑backed transactions.
- Interest in innovative and scalable capital structures that enable businesses to grow efficiently.
