M&A Director | Private Equity-Backed Business | Remote (UK Based)
I am working with a leading, PE-backed international business looking to appoint an International M&A Director to lead its acquisition strategy and support continued expansion across the Europe and the USA.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international platform, working directly with the Group CFO and senior leadership team to drive an ambitious buy-and-build strategy.
The opportunity:
- Lead M&A activity across international markets, with a primary focus on the US.
- Develop and execute a buy-and-build strategy, identifying both platform and bolt-on acquisitions.
- Originate opportunities, build relationships with founders and business owners, and manage transactions end-to-end.
- Work closely with senior leadership and shareholders on investment strategy, deal execution and integration.
- Play a key role in shaping the international growth of an established, PE-backed business.
The ideal candidate:
- Strong M&A experience gained within Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Big Four or M&A Advisory.
- Track record of executing transactions, ideally with exposure to buy-and-build strategies.
- International or cross-border M&A experience, particularly within the US, would be advantageous.
- Experience across Education, Critical Services, Business Services or other fragmented sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and comfortable taking ownership of international M&A activity.
Location:
Remote, with international travel
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of an international M&A strategy within a growing, investor-backed business.
