Sunnydale Care Home are seeking a Cook to join our friendly team in providing freshly prepared, nutritious meals for our residents. If you're passionate about cooking and making a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals for residents in line with dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently met
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Work closely with care staff to support residents' wellbeing through nutrition
- Help plan weekly menus and reduce food waste
- Previous experience in a cooking role (care or hospitality preferred)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Understanding of special diets and allergens
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
- A genuine interest in working with older people
