ABOUT PEARL COMMS
We’re looking for a sharp, creative mind to join us. We are growing, and growing quickly. With ambitious plans, we need someone who can own our digital, social and creative output and help drive results for our clients. You’ll be working directly into our creative lead. We work with some of the brightest businesses across the country, supporting clients across the property, legal, housing, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, education and charity sectors. This role will sit at the heart of how those organisations show up online.
THE ROLE
This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, digital content, design and creative execution. You will plan, create and publish content across channels, including social video, while using AI and digital tools to work smarter and faster. With a passion for design, you’ll be a brand guardian for our clients’ creative work. You’ll support our account teams to deliver campaigns that look good, read well and perform strongly - from video shoots to short‑form video, social media graphics and web content.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social and content
- Plan, create and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Own short‑form content creation, including videography, reels and social‑first video, from planning and filming through to editing.
- Draft sharp copy for posts, blogs, email content and simple web updates.
- Ensure all content reflects Pearl Comms and client tone of voice, brand and objectives.
- Digital and AI
- Support website content updates and basic SEO best practice (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking).
- Use AI tools for ideation, drafting, optimisation and reporting – always with strong human editing and judgement.
- Track performance using analytics tools and turn data into clear, actionable insights for the team and clients.
- Design and creative
- Design on‑brand social graphics, carousels, decks and simple campaign assets using Canva and Adobe.
- Work with Pearl Comms brand guidelines and client brand frameworks to produce high‑impact, professional visuals.
- Support on creative campaign development, bringing ideas to life visually and digitally.
- Team and clients
- Work closely with account managers and directors to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Contribute ideas in client and internal meetings, bringing a digital and creative lens.
- Help maintain smooth workflows by managing your deadlines and communicating clearly with the team.
Skills and experience
- Experience in social media, digital marketing or content creation (agency or in‑house).
- Practical experience in videography for social – comfortable planning, filming and editing short‑form video.
- Strong writing skills, able to adapt tone for different sectors and audiences.
- Confident with design tools (Canva, Edits (or similar) and Adobe essential, Premiere Pro desirable).
- Good understanding of digital performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, basic SEO).
- Comfortable using AI tools for content and marketing, with an interest in staying ahead of new techniques.
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects without dropping quality.
- Positive, tenacious attitude and a desire to deliver the best work for clients and the agency.
- Ability to drive or able to get to shoot locations.
