We are a medium-sized Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors firm based in Brentford (West London). We are looking for a Qualified ACCA/ACA or a strong AAT Qualified accountant to join a rapidly expanding and friendly team. We have experienced ongoing growth and are looking to expand further by adding to its talented team of accountants. Our business’s culture is built around hard work, success, and recognition. It has a well-established and varied client portfolio and dedicates itself to providing excellent professional and friendly customer service levels.

The position is for a Client Accountant who will be focused on providing practical advice to help grow our clients’ businesses and reach their goals. As this accounting firm prides itself on high standards, you will be a driven individual who strives to deliver client service satisfaction and report to the Partner/Senior Partner.

Job Requirements
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA and be committed to your continued professional development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of practice experience.
  • Plan and prioritise workloads to meet timescales and deadlines.
  • Must have experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Working knowledge of Xero, FreeAgent, Quickbooks, and Taxfiler (preferred but not essential).
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of small to medium size businesses and contractors.
  • Provide accounting, tax, and strategic planning advice to our clients to help them grow their businesses.
  • Review stat accounts, VAT, tax, and management accounts, prepared by the accounts department for your clients.
  • Provide advice, coaching, and share your technical knowledge with junior staff.
  • Provide coaching to clients on their business accounting systems and processes.
