Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and Manufacturing: Participate in the assembly and manufacturing of products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
  • Machine Operation: Operate production machinery, such as presses, cutting machines, or conveyor systems, while following safety protocols and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products at various stages of production to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Report any quality issues to supervisors.
  • Material Handling: Safely handle and transport raw materials, components, and finished products within the production area using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking materials used and reporting shortages to the inventory control team.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organised, including machinery, tools, and production equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with equipment setup and changeovers.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve production-related issues or challenges.
  • Documentation: Complete production logs, forms, and reports accurately and on time. Record data related to production metrics and quality checks.
