We are a well-established and growing construction and plumbing business based in the Bridgend area, delivering high-quality work across residential properties throughout South and West Wales. We are looking for a skilled, reliable Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team and play a key part in our continued growth. You will work across a varied mix of new builds, extensions, renovations, and luxury residential projects; no two days are the same.
What You'll Do:
- Install, commission, and maintain plumbing and heating systems across residential new builds and renovations.
- Carry out first and second fix plumbing on a variety of property types, from standard builds to high-spec luxury homes.
- Install, service, and repair gas boilers, unvented cylinders, ASHPs and central heating systems.
- Fault-find and diagnose heating and hot water system issues, delivering prompt and professional solutions.
- Complete bathroom, kitchen, and utility room installations.
- Maintenance to a high standard of finish.
- Liaise professionally with managers, other trades, and homeowners.
- Ensure all work complies with current Water Regulations, Building Regulations, and Gas Safe standards.
- Complete relevant paperwork including Gas Safe certificates and Benchmark documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent qualification).
- Gas Safe registered essential (ACS qualifications including CCN1 and CEN1/CPA1).
- Proven experience in residential plumbing and heating, including new build and renovation projects.
- Confident working with combi, system, and open vented heating systems.
- Experience with unvented hot water systems; G3 qualification desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively on site.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude with customers and colleagues.

- Base Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 DOE.
