Are you a strong people leader with significant claims experience? Join our client, an award-winning international law firm, as a Claims Team Manager! In this role, you will be responsible for the line management of the Claims Team, managing resources and capacity on a daily basis. You will also oversee the day-to-day relationship with particular clients and stakeholders. This role is suitable for someone with excellent management skills and a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and legal frameworks.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a point of contact for general client queries
- Supervising and mentoring direct reports to create a high performing team
- Managing the team’s files to comply with SLAs and KPIs
- Ensuring quality and integrity of MI captured within the case management system
- Liaising with internal administration to deliver reports to Insurers
- Delivering training, coaching, and ongoing support to the team
- Identifying trends and escalating risk information where appropriate
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and suppliers
- Carrying out regular audits of team members to ensure standards are achieved
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience within a similar role is essential
- Experience in claims along with technical knowledge and expertise
- Experience within insurance would be ideal
- An understanding of legal frameworks and the importance of compliance
- An associated legal qualification i.e. LLB Law, GDL, ACII, CILEx, or equivalent would also be ideal
