Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant? Do you want to join a friendly and growing team? Our client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join them. If you have strong bookkeeping experience, this could be the next role for you!
Duties will include:
- Supporting day-to-day finance operations
- Posting and processing purchase invoices
- Managing supplier statements and reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs and payroll processing
- Responsible for credit control and all related follow-ups
- Managing bank reconciliations and supporting VAT reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records in Xero
- CIS administration and subcontractor verification
Required skills and experience:
- AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) is essential for this position
- Proven experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role
- Strong knowledge of Xero, payroll, VAT, and CIS
- Experience with purchase ledger and credit control
