SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

• Essential: Insurance + Financial Reporting OR External Audit
• £90,000 – £110,000 + package (incl. bonus, pension etc.)
• Offices: City of London (WFH x3 days p/wk)

Pear Talent is representing an established global Insurance business who have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. Based in London you’ll report to the Head of the team managing a team x3 leading all financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring robust controls and managing the external audit relationship. You’ll also business partner with several other functions to deliver improvements and contribute to a wider Finance improvement programme.

You’ll be expected to mentor and develop junior team members and partner across the business, managing key senior stakeholder relationships, taking a leading role within a team that produce, analyse and deliver the Company\’s financial results.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead the production of the external financial and regulatory reporting
• Analyse the financial results to produce commentary for both internal management and external audiences.
• Produce various disclosures for inclusion in the annual report and accounts, interims and reports to investors.
• Partner across the business to ensure a wider understanding of the Company\’s financial performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems.
• Take on significant roles within ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives.

Required experience:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with financial reporting experience in Insurance, or otherwise in External Audit covering Insurance companies at an experienced Senior Manager level.
