City of London, hybrid (WFH 3 days p/wk) Posted 2 days ago. Pear Talent is representing an established global Insurance business who have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. Based in London you’ll report to the Head of the team managing a team of 3, leading all financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring robust controls and managing the external audit relationship. You’ll also business partner with several other functions to deliver improvements and contribute to a wider Finance improvement programme. You’ll be expected to mentor and develop junior team members and partner across the business, managing key senior stakeholder relationships, taking a leading role within a team that produces, analyses and delivers the Company’s financial results.

Key accountabilities:

  • Analyse the financial results to produce commentary for both internal management and external audiences.
  • Take on significant roles within ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives.

Required experience:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with financial reporting experience in Insurance, or otherwise in External Audit covering Insurance companies at an experienced Senior Manager level.
