SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER
- London offices x2 day p/wk, rest WFH
Pear Talent is representing an international insurer with a unique purpose-led ethos who are undergoing an exciting new phase of strategic growth and have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. You’ll work directly for the Head of Finance and lead a small team delivering all core internal and external financial reporting, contributing to major Finance projects and benefiting from regular interaction with CFO and other senior leadership.
Key accountabilities:
- Support the Head of Finance and CFO on all key areas of financial reporting.
- Lead internal and external financial reporting (IFRS), regulatory reporting (Solv II) and internal business performance packs.
- Review IFRS performance and deliver insight to business leadership in performance meetings.
- Analyse the financial results to produce commentary for both internal management and external audiences.
- Produce various disclosures for inclusion in the annual report and accounts and reports to investors.
- Partner across the business to ensure a wider understanding of business performance.
- Play a key role in contributing to Finance change and improvement projects.
Required experience:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with significant IFRS financial reporting experience in Insurance. Prior team management experience would be helpful but is not essential.
