Pear Talent is representing a globally recognisable FTSE financial services business who have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Analyst in their Finance Business Partnering team. This team provides strategic insight and analysis to challenge our teams and drive better decision making. Collectively the team is responsible for the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process of approx. £300m across 25+ offices. The role is extremely varied in terms of its activities, reflecting the need to rapidly respond to market developments and business unit initiatives.
You’ll be expected to gain credibility with senior stakeholders and demonstrate first class project management and communication skills. Work is often ad-hoc and project based with the potential for occasional travel within the UK and overseas.
Key accountabilities:- Track and analyse progress of the Group’s strategic objectives against key performance metrics, budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to regular insight and analysis required by the group Exec.
- Produce ad-hoc financial and commercial decision-making papers for senior management/ExCo.
- Develop relationships with the underlying business, helping to facilitate regular dialogue between senior leadership and this team.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar role within financial services that demonstrates commercial business understanding and analytical skills. Candidates who are about to qualify should also apply.
