Pear Talent is representing an established and growing Financial Services business that provides pension and savings solutions to millions of members, with an excellent new opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager. With tens of billions in assets under management, the business has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to invest in its finance, data and strategic planning capability as it executes an ambitious long-term growth strategy. This team plays a key advisory role within the organisation, supporting strategic decisions across the business.
You will sit within the central FP&A team supporting financial planning, forecasting and business performance analysis. This position will benefit from strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to combine commercial finance, financial modelling and data-driven reporting to support decision-making across the organisation.
Key accountabilities:- Own key budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Deliver critical board performance reporting for presentation to CFO
- Analyse financial performance and identify key trends and drivers
- Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analysis
- Produce financial performance insight and dashboards for stakeholders
- Partner with business teams to provide financial insight and challenge
- Support investment appraisal and project business cases
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance reporting processes
- A qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a strong academic record and post-qualified FP&A experience in a similar role within Financial Services including:
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills + experience with Power Apps, BI tools or reporting automation
- Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
