SENIOR FP&A ANALYST
- Essential experience: FP&A + Financial Services (PE backed company adv.)
- Offices: City of London, hybrid (WFH 2 days p/wk)
Pear Talent is representing an international private equity backed Financial Services business who\’s growing exceptionally well, both organically and through acquisitions. As such they have an excellent new opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst. This team provides critical business performance insight and financial planning support to the business Exec, directly influencing the company’s strategic decision making. You’ll be expected to partner closely with key senior stakeholders across the business to support and drive business performance.

Key accountabilities
- Preparing monthly Business Performance Pack and associated analysis
- Consolidating the performance of all product lines and articulating the financial narrative to senior management by highlighting key performance drivers and emerging trends
- Liaising with Commercial Finance Directors across all product lines to understand and communicate performance
- Analysing exceptional spend and ensuring correct allocation to business unit/project
- Contribute to preparation of annual budgets, quarterly re‑forecasts and long‑term plans
- Supporting the business in M&A activities, with a focus on monitoring and evaluating post‑acquisition performance
- Ad hoc analysis to understand trading performance and identify cost savings
- Working collaboratively with the wider FP&A team
- Actively contribute to the FP&A process/system improvement programme
Required experience
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar FP&A role within a high‑growth Financial Services company (PE backed adv.).
- Ability to influence others and demonstrate confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and decent financial modelling skills.
- Experience with ERP/FP&A systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive).
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data visualisation.
