This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, personable and knowledgeable Property Manager to step into a key role within a well-established business. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a property portfolio, delivering a first-class service to both landlords and tenants while ensuring properties are managed efficiently and professionally. You will oversee all aspects of property management, including maintenance, inspections, contractor management, compliance and general tenancy matters. You will be someone who takes ownership, is confident making decisions and naturally goes above and beyond to ensure a high level of customer service is always maintained. Building strong relationships will be an important part of the role, so you will be confident communicating with landlords, tenants and contractors and able to deal with issues calmly and professionally. Excellent attention to detail is essential, and previous experience with property management accounts would be advantageous. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! As an Assistant Property Manager, your role will involve: * Plan, coordinate and oversee property repairs and maintenance, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, promptly and to a suitable standard. * Liaise with contractors and service providers, obtain quotations where appropriate and monitor maintenance expenditure within agreed budgets. * Conduct routine inspections, identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance schedules to help avoid future problems. * Support compliance with relevant health, safety and building regulations, while keeping accurate maintenance and compliance records using Fixflo. * Act as a key point of contact for landlords and tenants, responding professionally to repair requests and dealing calmly and promptly with urgent or emergency maintenance matters. * Bank reconciliations and other account duties when required * Keep an accurate and up to date data base The ideal candidate must have: * Ideally Arla Qualified * Property Management Experience * Interpersonal with excellent communication skills * Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Ability to multitask. * Tenacious attitude * Problem solver and forward thinker If you are interested in this Property Manager position and would like to know more, please email your CV or telephone us on a strictly private and confidential basis for an informal discussion. *Recommend a friend* - Do you know someone looking for a position?
