Salary – £28,000 – £34,000

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Our client, an award-winning multi-office independent estate agency, is looking for a Client Accountant to join their Lettings team in Finchley. About the role:

The Property Management Department is continuously growing and currently manages a portfolio of over 1,000 properties. Due to this growth, they are now looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join the team of 8 Property Managers, 2 Accountants, and an administrator to help them deliver outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Client Accountant to further their career.

Responsibilities:

1. Management over the entire rent charges: receiving rent and paying landlords
2. Preparing and reporting on year-end accounts and audits
3. Dealing with landlords, tenant, and supplier queries
4. Supplier ledger reconciliation
5. Bank reconciliation
6. Activating new tenancies and processing renewals
7. Credit control: landlord fees and tenants\’ arrears
8. Processing deposit returns
9. Posting suppliers\’ invoices

Requirements:

1. 3 years of client accounts experience in a property management department
2. Experience with client accounting software, preferably Reapit
3. Ability to work fast and accurately to clear deadlines
4. Desire to take ownership over their tasks
5. Good written communication skills
6. Good computer skills
