Overview
Pear Recruitment is seeking a Client Accountant to join their busy Client Accounts team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will support the accurate and compliant management of client finances, working closely with the Property Services and Lettings teams. You will also build strong working relationships with landlords, tenants, and suppliers, while having the opportunity to work alongside highly regarded professionals within the property industry.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of client finances.
- Chase tenant rent arrears and update landlords.
- Manage client communications.
- Understand financial schedules, ledgers, invoices, and analyse data.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential property lettings Client Accounting role.
- Experienced with chasing tenantsβ rent arrears and liaising with internal departments.
- Familiar with tenancy compliance and financial invoicing schedules.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Problem solver with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Reapit software is desirable but not essential.
