Our client, a well-established independent estate agency founded in 1962, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 150 residential and commercial properties. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in managing a varied property portfolio, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all properties under your care. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Act as primary contact for landlords and tenants, handling queries swiftly and professionally
- Deal with property maintenance and repair requests
- Deal with tenant complaints and issues
- Carry out property inspections and ensure compliance with current UK lettings legislation
- Ensure that the property is legally compliant
- Handle evictions and process move-outs
- Maintain accurate records using property management software
Skills:
- Good customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, problem-solving and multitasking
- Knowledge of legislations for property management
- Experience with VECO, but not essential
