We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Office Manager to become the backbone of a busy independent estate agency. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of the business while working closely with the Director and team. As the role develops, the successful candidate will provide support across multiple business operations owned by the same Director, ensuring a varied and engaging position.
The ideal candidate will come from an administrative background, have excellent organisational skills, and be confident managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office
- Manage incoming calls, emails, correspondence, and enquiries professionally
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, appointments
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and office documentation
- Order and manage office supplies and liaise with suppliers and contractors
- Prepare reports, presentations, and board packs where required
- Support the implementation and maintenance of office procedures and systems
- Support additional business operations as the role develops
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects and administrative responsibilities
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Administrator or similar role
- Exceptional organisational skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
- Estate agency administrative experience would be advantageous but not essential
