Location - North London

Hours - Mon – Fri 9:30am – 5.30pm

Our client, established in 1968, is an independent, multi-faceted property practice based in North London. For more than 50 years, they have built a strong reputation for independence, integrity and personal service, developing long-standing relationships with clients through their expert local knowledge and professional approach. They cover a broad range of property services, including sales, lettings, property management, leasehold matters and professional surveying advice.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Manager to join their established property management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional who enjoys working closely with clients, tenants and contractors and who takes pride in delivering a responsive, commercially minded management service.

You will assist with the management of 50 commercial buildings, making sure they are well maintained and managed in accordance with lease obligations and client requirements.

  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, handle enquiries and complaints, manage lease-related matters, and maintain good tenant relationships.
  • Monitor rent collection, service charges, budgets, expenditure, arrears, and property income.
  • Arrange planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, repairs, cleaning, security, landscaping, and other facilities services.
  • Appoint and oversee contractors, obtain quotations, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed to the required standard.
  • Ensure the property meets relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including fire safety, risk assessments, inspections, and statutory testing.
  • Monitor lease obligations, renewals, rent reviews, break clauses, insurance requirements, and tenant compliance with lease terms.
  • Carry out regular inspections to identify maintenance issues, risks, unauthorised alterations, or breaches of lease conditions.
  • Prepare or oversee service charge budgets, expenditure, reconciliations, and communications with tenants.
  • Manage property insurance arrangements and assist with claims where necessary.
  • Coordinate refurbishment, improvement, or major repair projects, including budgets, contractors, timelines, and tenant communications.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents such as flooding, fire, power failures, security issues, or major building defects.
  • Maintain accurate property, tenant, contractor, financial, compliance, and maintenance records.
