Peaple Talent has partnered with a financial services company with an entrepreneurial and innovative view. They are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join the team to help deliver accurate, scalable, and impactful reporting and analytical insights.
The Role
- Write and improve SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data within Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Develop and support Python data pipelines, automation, and analysis tools.
- Support the development of forecasting, segmentation, and statistical models where needed.
The Candidate
- Confident using SQL to write advanced queries for extracting, transforming, and analysing data.
- Experience using Python to support automation and data-related processes.
- Skilled in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, including the use of DAX and data modelling techniques.
- Understanding of Microsoft Fabric or other modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Databricks.
- Strong grasp of core statistical concepts and analytical methods.
