People Talent has partnered with a leading global management software communications supplier. We’re looking for a Test Engineer to join our new QA team and help improve the reliability and stability of our software. We want thinkers with a passion for testing and test automation.

You would be helping the new QA team, whose responsibilities include designing and producing manual testing, automated testing and test plans. You’ll be working with really talented engineers on challenging tasks with plenty of scope for learning advanced techniques, growth and development. This client likes to hire great people, stretch them and keep them.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for testing procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Root Cause Analysis: The ability to delve deep into issues to identify their underlying causes rather than just addressing symptoms. This involves tracing bugs back to their source in the codebase or system architecture and understanding why they occurred.

Nice to have experience:

  • Proficiency in working with virtual machines (VMs), including setup, configuration, and management.
  • Sound understanding of networking principles and protocols, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network-related issues.
  • Comfortable navigating and performing tasks on the command line interface (CLI) of various operating systems.
  • Software version release management
  • VM testing automation
  • Ansible experience
  • Kubernetes experience

You will be working with international customers. Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
