Peaple Talent have partnered with a rapidly growing energy company at the heart of the transition to a low carbon future. They are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the team and support with architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
The Role:
- Manage VMware and Windows Server environments, including virtualisation, upgrades, capacity planning, and legacy systems.
- Design and support hybrid infrastructure, combining on-premise VMware systems with cloud services.
- Deliver and maintain Azure services such as compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid connectivity.
- Automate infrastructure and system tasks using PowerShell and Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, working with stakeholders, managing delivery timelines, and providing technical guidance.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Solid experience with VMware, Azure and PowerShell.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and projects running at the same time.

- Base salary: up to £69,500
