Peaple Talent is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior BI Developer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear, meaningful insight that helps the wider business make better decisions. You'll play a key role within the data and analytics team, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. You'll design and develop data models, while helping improve standards, data quality and the way the organisation uses its data. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to work across a broad data and BI landscape, combining technical development with stakeholder engagement and problem solving.

What You'll Bring:

  • Several years of hands-on experience designing and delivering dimensional data models within production data warehouse environments
  • Strong experience with Kimball methodology, including facts, dimensions, grain and conformed dimensions
  • Proven ability to translate business processes and stakeholder requirements into clear, scalable and domain-aligned data models
  • Strong SQL skills and deep practical experience using dbt for data transformation and modelling
  • Experience working with slowly changing dimensions, late-arriving facts and wider dimensional modelling principles
  • A strong understanding of data quality, testing and documentation
  • Ability to communicate modelling decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for clean data design, sensible modelling practices and building models that stand the test of time

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Snowflake
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow
  • Experience with TDD, DevOps and CI/CD within data or analytics engineering environments
  • Python experience
  • Experience working with AI coding tools to support and accelerate engineering delivery
  • Experience working within remote-first, collaborative engineering teams
