This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced director, giving you guidance and support, while also being offered the opportunity to have full autonomy to deliver on some exciting commercial projects – offices, football stadiums, high‑rise residential and more.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead project management construction projects from commercial refurbishment and multi‑storey new build residential, to passivehaus developments and heritage assets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee and coordinate commercial construction projects, ensuring delivery in line with RICS standards and best practice.
- Lead project meetings to drive progress, resolve technical or regulatory issues, and maintain alignment with project objectives.
- Liaise with clients, design teams, consultants, and statutory bodies to ensure full compliance with Building Regulations.
- Develop, monitor, and control project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
- Manage procurement and tendering activities, including contractor selection, contract administration, and cost evaluation.
- Maintain robust project documentation, reporting, and audit trails to support compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder transparency.
About You
- 2+ years working as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects
- RICS/MRCS or RICE accredited degree
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of building regulations, construction contracts, and health & safety standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
