Key Responsibilities
The Project Engineer will:
- Lead projects from survey to mobilisation, delivering high-quality engineered solutions that provide excellent value for clients.
- Design solar systems using advanced software to optimise performance and efficiency.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings across all project stages: feasibility, preliminary, construction, and as-built.
- Evaluate and select materials and equipment by understanding the supply chain and project-specific needs.
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys and generate insightful reports.
- Analyze energy consumption and generation data, integrating it with financial information to build compelling business cases.
- Coordinate activities with external partners, including grid applications, planning approvals, and commissioning documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of solar design experience, specifically in commercial and industrial projects.
- Proficiency with solar design tools like SolarEdge Designer, PVSOL, AutoCAD, and Trimble.
- Electrical design expertise, including schematics and cable calculations.

- A valid driving license and the flexibility to travel as needed.
