This is a varied field-based role covering installation, maintenance, commissioning and retrofit work across UK customer sites, primarily within the utilities and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on customer sites
- Install, commission and repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Perform mechanical retrofit work on valve systems
- Undertake site surveys for installations and upgrades
- Diagnose faults and carry out on-site troubleshooting
- Service and repair actuators and associated equipment
- Produce accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Provide first-line technical support via phone and email
- Work independently and as part of a field service team
- Liaise professionally with customers on-site
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Travel to UK customer sites and work away when required
- Support installation and commissioning activities
- Respond to breakdown and emergency service calls
Candidate Requirements
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Background in maintenance, service or installation engineering
