We’re currently looking for an ambitious IT Support Engineer to join our client - an established and growing UK construction and infrastructure business. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone with strong IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working under pressure and delivering excellent service to end users. This is a great opportunity to lead on high-quality IT support services to office-based and remote users across the UK, ensuring the effective operation, security, and reliability of IT systems and services.

The Role

  • Providing remote and telephone-based IT support for office and mobile users across the business
  • Delivering occasional field-based support, including overnight stays where required
  • Building, configuring, and deploying laptops and mobile devices using Intune
  • Maintaining IT hardware assets and updating the asset register
  • Managing antivirus protection, malware removal, patching, backups, and restores
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts within NetSuite and Entra
  • Supporting network infrastructure including WiFi, Starlink, mobile connectivity, and VoIP systems
  • Setting up, supporting, and troubleshooting mobile devices and IT hardware
  • Supporting and configuring Microsoft 365, including occasional development work
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers to maintain high levels of IT service and support
  • Undertaking ongoing training and development through the company’s in-house learning platform

About you

  • Proven experience in an IT support or technical role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related applications
  • Understanding of mobile devices, including troubleshooting, common faults, and basic repairs
  • Knowledge of server operating systems and Hyper-V is desirable; training can be provided
  • Experience supporting IT hardware, software, and user accounts in a business environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy IT team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional field-based support

Remote (Interview will be in Milton Keynes)
