We’re looking for a skilled Tier 2 Network Operations Engineer with Fortinet experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys troubleshooting complex network issues, supporting critical infrastructure, and driving operational performance across telecoms environments.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience within a NOC or network engineering role, ideally in the telecoms sector
- Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Fortinet solutions in live production environments
- Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, and IPSec/SSL VPNs
- Experience configuring and supporting SD-WAN deployments and secure network environments
- Ability to manage escalated incidents and troubleshoot complex routing, switching, firewall, and VPN issues
- Experience working with FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiAP, and FortiSwitch technologies
- Familiarity with telecom network architectures including MPLS and broadband technologies
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear technical updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively across support, engineering, and third-party teams in a 24/7 operational environment
