Are you a qualified Legal Counsel keen to take your years of experience into a brand new role, ready to make your own? Well great news, this is your opportunity! We are currently partnering with the UK’s leading cloud-only next-generation Contact Centre and Customer Experience Managed Service Provider to help them recruit for a Legal Counsel to lead their Legal function.
This person will be instrumental in client contract negotiations, educating the exec team and wider business on all legal matters and supporting the business with the expansion of their core market sectors including Public Sector.
The role: This is an amazing opportunity to share your expertise in a way that directly impacts business growth. You will operate with lots of autonomy and be supported by the wider business, exec team and external solicitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Contract negotiation and drafting
- Legal compliance and regulatory guidance
- Risk management and mitigation
- Vendor and third-party contracts
- Stakeholder communication and reporting
- Data privacy and security
What will help you be successful in this role:
- Strong post-qualified experience in relevant areas of law, with a focus on large-scale project implementations, managing outsourcing agreements, and technology contracts.
- Proven experience in managing legal risks on complex projects and large-scale programmes.
- Sound understanding in data privacy, data protection compliance, and risk management.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
- Business process outsourcing (BPO) experience.
The salary and benefits: This role is paying between £80,000-£90,000 per annum with a good selection of benefits including: 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, pension scheme with competitive company contributions, insurances including income protection, travel insurance and life assurance, and the opportunity to work with leading technology and high-profile government projects.
