An established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of site-based projects across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys coordinating multiple activities, working closely with project teams, and ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to completion.
Working alongside the Site Services and Project teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engineers working on customer sites, coordinating logistics, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring all project requirements are in place ahead of deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics for site-based personnel
- Raise and manage purchase orders for equipment hire, labour, training and project requirements
- Maintain project documentation, reports and records using internal systems and SharePoint
- Support site access administration including security clearance and compliance documentation
- Organise PPE, tools, equipment and site resources for engineering teams
- Monitor and maintain training records and competency matrices
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services
- Assist with onboarding activities for new team members
- Manage project-related administration and support day-to-day coordination activities
- Support continuous improvement of processes and project delivery systems
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Service Coordinator or similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across different departments and external suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, construction or technical environment would be advantageous
- Experience using document management systems or SharePoint would be beneficial
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
