We’re looking for an experienced IP Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading high-performing engineering teams, driving technical consistency, and ensuring seamless delivery of network services into live operations.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing engineering teams within telecoms or network service providers
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN architectures and secure network delivery
- Experience delivering infrastructure solutions into live service with clear documentation and handover processes
- Ability to lead third-line engineering and network build teams, managing escalations and project delivery
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Experience managing licensing across network and security platforms (e.g. Fortinet, Juniper)
- Demonstrated ability to standardise processes, improve build quality, and drive operational consistency
- Experience coordinating resources, engineering rotas, and project allocations across teams
Nice to Have
- Technical background in Juniper routing and/or Fortinet environments
- Experience working in regulated or public sector environments
- Familiarity with external circuit providers (e.g. BT, Virgin, Neos)
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, Fortinet NSE (4+), Juniper, or Prince2/Agile
- Experience working closely with vendors, procurement, and commercial teams
