Based in Wells, with travel to other sites
Looking to grow your IT career in a role where no two days are the same? This hands-on position offers exposure to a wide range of tech, from maintaining infrastructure and rolling out upgrades to supporting users across multiple sites.
You\’ll be working closely with the Head of IT to keep systems running smoothly, support new projects, and provide friendly, plain-English help to users at all levels of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain IT infrastructure across multiple sites
- Troubleshoot hardware, software & network issues
- Set up laptops/desktops for new starters and movers
- Support Office 365, OneDrive, AD, Azure & other core tools
- Help implement upgrades and roll out new systems
- Occasionally support finance software & clients with tech needs
- Keep things secure, backed up, and running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with Windows 10/11 devices
- Solid grasp of networking, LAN/WAN, VOIP, and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Working knowledge of Office 365, AD, and Azure
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT support role
- Confident communicator who can explain tech in simple terms
- Happy to travel between sites as needed
