A growing SaaS and cloud solutions provider is seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Consultant with strong Amazon Connect and AWS expertise to join its Solution Engineering team, supporting complex enterprise and public-sector customer engagements. You’ll play a critical role in designing, demonstrating, and delivering Amazon Connect contact centre and customer experience solutions, translating business requirements into scalable, cloud-native architectures. This role spans the full pre-sales lifecycle and is suited to someone who thrives in customer-facing technical environments. This is a senior, consultative role focused on solution design, cloud architecture, and AWS-native integrations, without people-management responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a technical specialist for Amazon Connect–based solutions throughout the pre-sales cycle
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer contact centre, CX, and integration requirements
- Design end-to-end solutions using Amazon Connect and the wider AWS ecosystem (e.g. Lambda, Lex, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
- Define solution architectures, integrations, and commercial inputs including usage-based AWS pricing models
- Create and deliver high-impact Amazon Connect demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
- Produce pre-sales artefacts including proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work
- Support complex, transformational engagements with a strong focus on cloud architecture and system integration
- Maintain trusted relationships with key accounts, ensuring awareness of current and upcoming AWS and platform capabilities
- Contribute to R&D initiatives, keeping solutions aligned with evolving AWS services and CX technologies
- Represent the business at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings
- Maintain and evolve internal Amazon Connect lab and demo environments
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience designing and delivering Amazon Connect contact centre solutions
- Strong hands-on knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, particularly services commonly used with Amazon Connect
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with CRMs and third-party platforms via APIs and web-based integrations
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, scalability, and security best practices
- A consultative mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Confidence presenting complex AWS solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements autonomously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on practical, customer-first outcomes
- Relevant AWS or Amazon Connect certifications are highly desirable
- Excellent written and spoken English
