I'm currently working with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join their growing Data & Insight function. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people while staying technically hands-on, with a key role in shaping the organisation's data strategy and modernising its data platform. We can consider Senior Data Engineers who are looking to make a step up into a more Senior role!
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor and develop a talented team of Data Engineers
- Provide technical direction across data platforms and products
- Drive the migration to Databricks and a modern lakehouse environment
- Stay hands-on with complex engineering challenges using Python, SQL & Spark
- Work closely with Technology, Architecture, BI and wider business teams
- Support major transformation and integration programmes
