Data Centre Technician (Contract)

Peaple Talent has partnered with a growing organisation in Farnborough to recruit for a Datacentre Engineer. You must meet SC and BPSS security clearance to be accepted for this position. Install network, server and storage hardware, including cabling and patching Install copper and fibre cabling/patching tasks Remotely support data centres by replacing hardware, cabling testing, power cycling equipment and network cards Excellent knowledge of server, network and storage support and installation Background working in a datacentre with copper/fibre cabling experience Must be able to be onsite 5 days a week in Farnborough and meet SC and BPSS security clearance Comfortable working within a 24/7 x 365 on-call rota Basic salary: up to £28,000 plus £5k on-call allowance Career progression opportunities into management or other engineering Vibrant company culture with a wide range of events and social activities throughout the year Comprehensive benefits including on-site cafe with free barista coffee, birthday leave, charity leave, vitality health cover and holiday purchase scheme to gain an extra 5 days leave!
