Peaple Talent have partnered with an award-winning AI company who are specialists in the energy and net zero sectors, recruiting a Cloud Engineer to join their growing organisation.
About the role:
- You will be responsible for the GCP cloud and infrastructure, taking responsibility for the health and evolution of their platforms.
- You will work alongside data engineers and software developers implementing IAAS, optimising cloud resources and designing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- GCP configuration, resource provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Managing GCP resources at scale with strong Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities using Terraform.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code deployments and optimise cloud resources.
- Manage network architecture including Tailscale or VPN.
- Implementation of cloud best practices across the engineering team.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and configuration management.
- Knowledge and experience of cloud security, compliance automation and ISO-27001 requirements.
