Change Manager | Bristol (Hybrid, 3x day per week in the office) | Permanent | Up to £60,000 per annum
Peaple Talent have partnered with an exciting client in Bristol who are looking to add a Change Manager into their team. You will be focused on ITIL Change, Asset and Problem Management to help support a client (high-profile) as well as the wider business.
The ideal candidate will help to lead a team and maintain key ITIL processes, working with Directors to transform existing process and governance that meet the requirements business wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a specialized team handling change control, asset oversight, and root cause analysis within the broader support structure.
- Produce detailed and regular reports on both problem and change management activities to inform stakeholders and support continuous service improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between our client and the Change Advisory Board (CAB), maintaining strong cross-functional communication.
- Act as the senior point of responsibility for identifying and resolving recurring technical issues through structured problem analysis.
- Organize and lead our client’s internal change governance meetings, ensure all technical modifications are reviewed and their dependencies are well managed.
- Manage the lifecycle of hardware assets to promote environmentally responsible disposal and reuse practices.
- Collaborate with Service Management to synchronize software and system deployments across managed environments, following structured change processes.
- Support audits, internally and externally, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of IT assets and configuration data.
- Research, recommend, and implement tools and methodologies for efficient release planning and execution.
Key Experience Required
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing change, asset, and release operations.
- Solid grasp of modern IT infrastructures, with experience managing changes and configuration items through platforms like GitHub.
- Proven track record in championing structured change and release methodologies across teams.
- Well-versed in both internal protocols and client-facing service processes.
- Collaborate closely with project and program leaders to align change and release activities with delivery schedules.
- Strong critical thinking and issue-resolution capabilities, consistently producing practical, client-oriented outcomes.
